General Manager Finanace

As General Manager Finance, you ensure a solid and reliable financial administration, fully aligned with our ERP system. You lead the back-office and centralized finance operations, making sure that all reports are delivered timely and accurately, including group consolidation, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital.

You safeguard compliance and internal controls by establishing and maintaining clear SOPs. Together with management and regional teams, you actively manage receivables and drive improvements in cash flow. You are responsible for the annual external reporting under GAAP and act as the primary contact for auditors. You also lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with various business heads.

In addition, you oversee taxation and insurance matters and play a key role in projects related to ERP optimization, integration of new business activities, and process improvements. In this way, you contribute not only to daily performance but also to the sustainable growth of our organization.

We are looking for a General Manager Finance with proven leadership experience, who also has a background in change management and digitalization projects. Someone who can inspire and guide teams in a dynamic and evolving environment. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with experience in international business environments.
• Has at least 10 years of experience in a Shared Service Center, the Freight Forwarding sector, or a mid-sized multinational organization.
• Has leadership experience, including managing and developing finance teams.
• Has strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance.

Finally, you possess excellent communication and influencing skills, as well as strong analytical capabilities, enabling you to drive results effectively in a dynamic environment.

For our Corporate Office, we are looking for a Finance Head who will lead a team of 18 colleagues in Chennai and 7 branch accountants across India.

In this leadership role, you will report directly to the Managing Director of Broekman Logistics India. You will manage and develop the finance team while ensuring smooth and efficient operations across accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial management.

You will work closely with senior management, branch managers, and international stakeholders, playing a key role in driving financial governance, efficiency, and process optimization.
