Broekman Networks Representative – Mandarin Language

As a Networks Representative, you are an important link between Broekman Logistics and our international partners. You have a strong understanding of international logistics and supply chain management and know how to build and maintain long-term business relationships. Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills, combined with a customer-oriented mindset, are essential. Cultural sensitivity and adaptability are also important in this international role.

In addition, you can think of work such as:

• Building strong relationships with partners through effective communication, regular updates and collaboration.
• Staying informed about market trends, regulations and opportunities in new and untapped regions.
• Expanding the partner network into new markets and regions to enhance global coverage and meet customer demands.
• Developing cross-cultural skills and understanding local business practices and customs.
• Analyzing data and generating reports to evaluate network performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Negotiating terms and agreements with selected partners, including pricing, service levels, responsibilities and contractual terms.
• Contributing to the development of automation and AI applications and being open to new technologies that make our work smarter and more efficient.

As a Networks Representative, you are commercially minded, proactive and able to build strong relationships with people from different cultures and backgrounds. You communicate clearly and convincingly and know how to persuade others while maintaining strong professional relationships.

Furthermore, you should have:

• At least an HBO/WO education, preferably in logistics or a related field.
• Relevant work experience within freight forwarding, logistics or an international commercial environment.
• Excellent command of Mandarin.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good command of Microsoft Office.

Finally, you enjoy working in a global team and feel comfortable operating in an international and culturally diverse environment.

As a Networks Representative, you will manage and further develop our international network of partners. You maintain strong relationships with existing partners while identifying new opportunities and markets. Together with your colleagues within Broekman Networks and other business units, you will develop commercial plans and identify opportunities to strengthen our global network and services.
