As Manager Sales, you will lead a team of Business Development Managers and be responsible for bringing in new business for our Chennai Branch. As a sales team, you will work with KPIs based on revenue and profit targets, product growth initiatives, etc. You will serve as the primary sales contact for prospects and as the account manager for customers assigned to your region. You know how to build and maintain the right network. You are someone who enjoys attending networking events and, when possible, you are frequently on the go. Whether it’s social gatherings, trade shows, or events, you are always open to conversations and seeking new business opportunities, ranging from “quick storage” to end-to-end supply chain solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to positioning and developing a commercial plan.
On one hand, you will have a coaching role toward your sales team, as we aim to achieve our sales targets together. These targets will be set by you as the Sales Manager in collaboration with the Branch Manager of our location.
As mentioned earlier, you are highly commercial and have no hesitation in approaching organizations. Building and expanding a network excites you, and you know exactly where the decision-makers are and how to convince them of Broekman Logistics’ services.
Furthermore, you possess:
• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience as a leader of a sales team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with sales-related CRM software.
Finally, you have leadership qualities and strategic insight.
